Events and Activities


1. The Departmental Society has been proposed and it will come into act after approval of the Head of the institution (Principal).

2. The name “Information Science and Application Society” was proposed in the meeting and accepted.
This will be referred as ISAS.

3. After a brief discussion, the following society structure has been proposed and it is given below

Aims and Objectives of The Society:

  • To promote scientific and educational activities towards the advancement of the theory and practices of Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology & Master in Computer Applications.
  • To bring together Researchers, Scientists, Engineers, Scholars and Students in the areas of Engineering & Information Technology. Provide a forum for the dissemination of original research results, new ideas, Research and development, practical experiments, which concentrate on both theory and practices, for the benefit of humanity.
  • To promote research that highlight successful modern applications of Computer Science & Information Technology in the field of Agriculture, Biomedicine, Bioinformatics, Business Intelligence, Environmental Science, Education, E-Learning and Mathematics.
  • To set up, establish, maintain and manage centers of excellence for the study of related subjects of various disciplines and also to run self supporting projects for the benefit of our Students and Faculties.
  • To work in collaboration with industry and other National & International Organizations and grow with the modern era to serve the community at large.
  • An Executive Committee, (here after we call this as “EC”) has been prepared ,headed by Chairman, which consist of eleven faculty members from the department and two students from each year of the department, the following members were designated as bellow
