In response to the COVID-19 health crisis, GIFT Engineering College has made the transition to remote learning and teaching. All staffs are working from home and students are participating in remote learning and teaching from home.

Is the College still open?

Our Institute is currently closed but we are focused on our central mission of teaching, learning, and creative and scholarly work. As notified by Government of Odisha and Government of India, to fight COVID-19 pandemic by controlling the spread of the virus, we have moved to work from home, so that the employees can support the most essential services needed for essential College operations continuing to support faculty teaching remotely.

Is GIFT College restricting access to campus?
Access to College facilities is restricted to all visitors. Few employees can visit the institute on permission only to collect the necessary material required to work from home.

Is GIFT Engineering College still offering admissions tours and information sessions?
The admissions office will be closed to all visitors until further notice. Latest Information about our institution is available in our website and in most web sources and social networking sites like FaceBook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc. Please contact us over phone or email or submit your queries using the helpdesk form available in our website in case you want to learn more about our College.

Does the College plan to hold Workshop/Seminar/Conferences?
We will not be able to hold the events as originally planned. We will re-plan the same when we are able to travel safely and gather in large groups again.

For Current Students

Dear students, stay in touch with your mentor who can address all your concerns and for latest information about remote learning and teaching. Training and Placement cell is organizing pre-placement Career Counselling, Personal Interview and Technical Interview sessions in remote mode and Online Examinations from time to time. As you know Our Purpose is You, hence participate all remote activities intended for you.

Admission Information

Admissions staff are answering phone calls and emails, but are not available to meet with visitors in person. Materials are available for pick up in our Admission Department, but our building is closed to the public.
