Since our childhood, everyone around us used to ask! Son, what will you become when you grow up older?
Engineer, Doctor, Actor, Cricketer, Singer, etc. We used to answer with a lot of enthusiasm.
Well, we had to say anything to get the praise of our elders. It's not like we solely wanted to do anything. Maybe even some of us wanted to, yet all of us are here in an engineering college.
THE SAME QUESTION:
But the question remains the same till now.
Son, what will you do after engineering!
While learning to become an engineering graduate, we realized one thing, and that is engineering is not just a course. It's a part of our life. In an engineering college, we learn about many things along with engineering.
Yes, some of us, within a couple of years, will become promising engineers. But some of us will hardly be satisfied with that.
Few of us will go to different fields after engineering. Some will pursue higher studies. While a lot of us are still in confusion about what will we do after this?
Confusion!
Let's see! Why this confusion arises within us? It's because we aren't aware of our skills!
Not all of us are good at engineering studies, but we are good at several other things. We only have to find that one great skill, which will help us to determine our goal.
And how can we find that skill?
Yet Confusion!
Let's see! We are good at numerous things. At least, we think we are, but the truth is we excel in none, and that's where the confusion starts to take place because we are not confident in our skills!
In an era where a person with multiple skills prevails, we endeavor to realize even our one desired skill.
Confusion?
LET'S SEE THE SOLUTIONS:
There's only one thing you can do to realize what's the solution! And that is
TRIAL AND ERROR method.
Yes, that's right! Let's take an example.
Suppose painting! Take a glance at your portraits. Are you reasonably good at this??Yes/No?
No!
Okay, can you be good at this by practicing so you can make a living out of it?
Yes/No?
If you are convinced, go for it. If you still think it's a no! Then it's an ERROR, move on from that idea and go for the next one applying the same technique!
(Don't worry, you can add it to your hobby as extracurriculars are extremely important. Remember, no skill is a waste).
After this, You will find 1 or 2 skills where you are actually good, or maybe you can master them effortlessly if you learn them.
Concentrate on that, analyze that and try to learn everything about it so you surely can make a living out of it.
Once you have done that, Thus you can focus on other things like that painting idea you may have dropped years ago.
So why waste time? Let's make a list of things we love and things we don't. Aspects at which we are good at, also the opposite of it.
Things with which we can make a living and things with which we may struggle!
And find out that skill with which we can win the world.
Often, finding a solution is easy if we only focus on finding solutions rather than getting conflicted in our confusion.
There is a lot of time left, and hence it's never too late. We are the youths of India. Let's rediscover ourselves, enhance our skills, and throw away the confusion which holds us back from achieving our dreams.
