We may say social media and mental health is directly proportional to each other. The questions arises is how?? From last decade it has seen that there is a constant rise in use of social media platforms. People are displaying there life stories and daily life activities in the from of vlogs, blogs, posts, biography. This somehow creates a negative as well as positive impact on every other individual. Researchers have found out that more use of social media has created the more chaos among each other. People started comparing themselves to other in case lifestyle. Obsessed with getting more and more likes has always put people life at stake. To get more visibility on screen they add unrealistic presentation of themselves than they actually are. This has been mostly seen on Instagram with editing photos, fake ids, which develops curiosity for other person. Sometimes they just go
beyond there boundaries. This continue to creates the negative impact on mental health.....
We often get to hear about the negative side of it but now let's throw some light on positive side as well:-
There are some posts or vlogs we gives us thrilling messages which helps us to motivates or influences us to do so much more in our life. Like Older people in there 60s, 70s are putting up there fitness or yoga videos which says just not because they are in 70s will sit down and put on the weight for rest of there life instead work out and stay healthy. Some are establishing such massive empire right from very scratch through hard work. The best example we can give is YouTube which in second most likeable platform in the world of social media era. People putting up there travelling experiences from every corner of the world on screen keeps up updated about the unique places. This sort of messages feeds positive notes and healthy relationship. With development of more advance technology communication isn't lost. It's has become more convenient for people to share there skills over a platform.
More or less the content we search for says a lot about the use of social media in our day to day life and the impact we build for our own mental health and holistic wellness.
